My name’s Phylice Dupoux and I’m a volunteer with Think Big For Kids! I was first approached about joining TBFK while working at my very first job after graduating from the University of Tampa. Once I heard about TBFK’s message and overall goal to help the underprivileged youth, I knew without a doubt that I had to join. Growing up, I faced some similar challenges that the youth we work with face today so it means a lot to be in this position to give back and help them realize their true potential despite the obstacles they might be facing. The most rewarding part of being a volunteer for me has been watching these kids light up as they learn about new opportunities available to them that they never knew about before. To me, Thinking Big means thinking outside of yourself and seeing what we can do for the greater good and I am beyond thankful that TBFK has given me the opportunity to do just that!
