Marc Matthie

Marc Matthie, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, grew up in Chantilly, VA where he was a captain of the 1996 Virginia AAA Football State Championship team, Chantilly Chargers. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration/Marketing degree from the College of William and Mary.
At William and Mary, Marc was a team captain and linebacker for the 2001 Atlantic 10 Conference Champions. Following graduation, Marc coached two seasons with the College of William and Mary and the Catholic University of America before becoming a teacher and coach in the Fairfax County Public School system (FCPS).
Marc has taught Marketing, Leadership, and Health and Physical Education for 18 years at the following schools: Fairfax High School, South Lakes High School, Herndon High School, Centreville High School, Mount Vernon High School, T.C. Williams High School, Rocky Run Middle School, and Chantilly High School.
His B.H.A.G (Big Hairy Arduous Goal) is to eliminate the silo between schools and the business community and create Career Pipelines that will usher students into career success, innovation, and greatness.
