Career Showcase Host Committee

Katlyn serves as Corporate Marketing & Executive Assistant at SME Solutions Group, Inc., and has been with the company for 7+ years. In this role, she focuses on website management, collateral design, event planning, and, most importantly, communicating the power of data with others. While her focus is mainly on SME’s marketing efforts, she also supports the improvement of internal processes, sales enablement, and maintaining a company culture that anyone would be excited to work within. Katlyn began her career while attending the University of South Florida, pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, and has since obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Her passion for helping others and giving back to the community led her to become involved with multiple organizations, including Think Big for Kids, the Junior League of Tampa, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Through her position at SME Solutions Group, she became involved with Think Big in 2020. She originally acted as an event manager for a golf outing that supported local nonprofits, including Think Big. This golf outing, now in its fourth year, continues to support Think Big. Through the planning process of the golf event, Katlyn learned more about Think Big and the impact it is having on kids. This prompted her to seek additional volunteering opportunities, and she recently joined the Career Showcase Host Committee.

Katlyn enjoys baking, yoga, and exploring the Tampa Bay area.
