You Have Been Chosen for
the True North Society…

We’re grateful for those of you who have been able to join our recent events to learn more about the society. We are building True North into something remarkable to help end the cycle of poverty for kids and having fun doing it.

Think Big for Kids

What is the True North Society?

Finding your True North, your passion, mission, and purpose sometimes happens in an instant. Maybe as a child, you dreamed of becoming who you are, and you’ve followed through with that vision for your life. More than likely, you stumbled through a number of life paths, studying one thing, working one job, only to alter course before defining your True North. Throughout your journey, many people have acted as a compass, showing you where each path may lead and how to get there.

For many kids, there is no compass.

Their lack of exposure to potential life and career paths is limited by circumstance. Without a compass, it’s easy to get lost. The world is full of people searching for True North, and those that find it make life better for us all.

The True North Society is a group of young professionals supporting the mission of Think Big for Kids to empower the next generation of youth. They are a group of impassioned and focused entrepreneurs, leaders, academics, creatives, and philanthropists volunteering their time to help kids in poverty with career exploration, mentoring, and workforce readiness. We’re here to provide a compass to the next generation and elevate kids to find their purpose.

In collaboration with Tampa-based non-profit Think Big for Kids and founder Tony DiBenedetto, this group will help kids in poverty discover their untapped potential through mentorship and career exploration opportunities – and have a hell of a good time while doing it.

The True North Society and  Think Big For Kids would like to invite you to an afternoon of shuffleboard, drinks and food, and to learn more about volunteer opportunities with Think Big for Kids, like becoming a mentor. This special event will take place at Shuffle on June 16th from 12-3 p.m., where the thrill of the game meets the warmth of community spirit.
We’re planning to beat the heat by hosting our event at the indoor courts!

If you’re looking for ways to give back and get involved in our community, all while having a great time with other doers, we’d love to see you there. Visit https://shuffleforacause.eventbrite.com to register for your free ticket!
