Julie Holmes

After a successful law career that included clerking for a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals and practicing real estate and corporate law at Covington & Burling LLP, in 2010, she joined her parents’ automotive maintenance and repair business, Virginia Tire & Auto.  Julie and her husband, Mike, later took over the leadership of the family business, and they are now co-CEOs. Since that time, Julie has worked to rebrand the business, focused on creating opportunities for women in what is a traditionally male dominated industry, and the couple have grown the business to 17 locations and more than $62M in annual revenue.
