Diana Lindsay

Diana is a Program Manager at Think Big for Kids. She supports the execution of our three pillars: Career Exploration, Mentoring Program, and Job Readiness & Placement. She works closely with our Director of Programs to ensure that Think Big for Kids is reaching and exceeding its goals throughout the year. Diana brings to her role almost 20 years of experience working in education, and a strong passion for improving the lives of all children.

Diana graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught 4^th – 6^th grade in Virginia and earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Virginia. In addition to teaching, Diana created curriculum resources for Fairfax County Public Schools as well as provided training and mentoring for fellow teachers.

Diana grew up in Pinellas County, and after living in Virginia, she moved to Tampa in 2016. She launched and led a Tampa networking community to support local women and small businesses, and she loves learning about what makes people passionate about their jobs. Most recently, Diana has been teaching middle school students with special needs in Lutz. Her work with children and local leaders has taught her that everyone has genius inside of them, and she is passionate about giving everyone the chance to find their place in the world. 

Diana spends her free time with her husband and their three boys, and you can find them enjoying the Florida sunshine at the beach, poolside, or at one of the boys’ sports games. She is thrilled to be part of the Think Big team and to work towards their mission.
