Cindi Jacobsen

“Life isn’t measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away”

Cindi is the Director of Programs at Think Big for Kids. She leads the execution of our three core pillars: Career Exploration, Mentoring Program, and Job Readiness & Placement. She is responsible for working with our partner companies, volunteers, mentors and partner organization to fulfill our mission. Cindi brings over 20 years of Business Development and Program Management experience and a lifelong passion for working with non-profit organizations. 

She graduated from Florida State University with a business degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Cindi has lived in the Tampa area for over 20 years, and while she loves to travel all over the world, she thinks there is no place better than Tampa Bay. She is deeply involved in the community, having been an active member of the Junior League of Tampa, served on the South Tampa YMCA board, participated in her children’s PTSA, and volunteered with numerous local nonprofits focused on children. She enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and two kids and is always up to a cooking challenge with them (the kids have been known to win!). 

Cindi loves being a part of the Think Big team and is dedicated to helping the organization exceed its goals.
