Pillar One
Career Exploration
The foundation of our unique “Three Pillars” program introduces kids to potential career paths across diverse industries.
Sparking a passion
Our Career Exploration pillar first engages kids during the critical middle school years when dreams often give way to outside pressures. We aim to spark a passion in every student by helping them discover new possibilities and create a path for success in high school and beyond.
Get InvolvedI had the opportunity to share insights with the kids about Johnson & Johnson and inspire them by highlighting the diverse career pathways available within our organization.”
How It Works
Career Showcases
Our partner companies and volunteers develop and deliver interactive showcases designed for hands-on learning, discussions and experiences. These sessions play a crucial role in giving kids a first-hand look into multiple industries and career path opportunities.
Host a Career ShowcaseSkill-Building Workshops
Think Big works with partner companies, other organizations, and volunteers to provide workshops that focus on developing essential soft skills for workforce readiness. These ongoing sessions cover valuable topics such as personality differences, interpersonal communication and teamwork.
Volunteer for a WorkshopField Trips
Students get the opportunity to see a variety of workplace facilities, cultures and jobs in action through our partner company-hosted field trips. These one-day experiences are typically held over spring or summer break and range from 8 to 200 kids in attendance based on facilities and resources.
Host a Field TripSummer Programs
Our specialized summer programs provide even greater blocks of time during summer break to engage kids with career exploration and learning opportunities. We offer career fairs, workshops and multi-day immersion events in specific career fields to both middle and high school students.
