Zoe Marcuse

Zoe Marcuse joined Goodwin Living in 2022 as the People Engagement Manager with proven success in leading workforce development programs and building meaningful community engagement and partnerships. In March 2022, she spearheaded the creation and launch of a stipend-based internship program that earned Goodwin Living the distinction of 2023 Top Employer for Interns from Virginia’s Talent + Opportunity Partnership. In her current role, she also manages the tuition assistance, citizenship assistance and financial hardship grant programs and provides one-on-one support to team members in need. Additionally, Zoe engages in expanding local partnerships and contributes to the ways Goodwin Living is a champion for social good in the community. With over 10 years of experience and a diverse background in non-traditional education settings, workforce empowerment with historically under-served communities and a focus on community investment, Zoe is passionate about providing opportunities to youth through the work and mission of Think Big for Kids.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College and her master’s in social work from Columbia University. She also is a graduate of the 2018 Child Defender Fellowship through the Children’s Defense Fund and is an advocate for DEI work in her community and workplace. She also serves on Marymount University’s Business Leaders Taskforce for Experiential Learning.
In her free time, she likes being outdoors, trying various art forms from metal etching to photography, yoga and a cup of tea. She also enjoys mentoring through the AHC Inc’s College and Career Readiness program and is an active volunteer at Green Spring Gardens.
