Chris is the second President in the over 40 year history of Gorove Slade. In that capacity he oversees all Strategic Initiatives with the company with a strong focus on Client Service and Staff Development. Critical to Client Service is Gorove Slade’s “One Firm” mindset and he works with the firm leadership to make sure that all resources are made available as appropriate to any client or project in need. Chris is also a practicing Principal with a focus on work in Fairfax County. He has worked on both public and private projects throughout the entirety of the county. His practice has focused on balancing the local and state requirements associated with planning and design approvals with transportation planning and design principals that move the greatest number of people on all modes of transportation, vehicles, bikes, transit and walking. Throughout the course of his career, he has managed, engineered, or led hundreds of client engagements that include traffic impact studies, transportation network modeling, parking studies traffic signal designs and site access and circulation evaluations.
