Think Big for Kids is breaking the cycle of poverty by providing middle and high school students with career exploration, mentorship, and job readiness and placement to excel in today’s workforce.
A Solid Plan for the Future
Our Job Readiness & Placement Pillar helps kids put their career plans into action. Thanks to our volunteers and partner companies, we offer a variety of opportunities for skills development, internships and scholarships. We stay with our graduates throughout the completion of on-the-job training, trade school, or two-to-four year degree programs, and help them obtain jobs at the end of their educational journey.

How It Works
Hands-On Experience
We coordinate internship and job shadowing opportunities with our partner companies for students while they are still in high school. This provides hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities within their intended career path.
Preparation for the Workplace
Think Big provides job readiness workshops to high school students to ensure they’re prepared for any path they choose post-graduation. From interview training and resume writing tips to SAT/ACT preparation and social media pointers, we make sure graduates are ready for any workplace.
Scholarship Opportunities
Think Big provides scholarships through the generosity of our donors and partner companies for technical school, apprenticeships, certifications and college. Our scholarships are open to all qualifying students as they complete their final year of high school.
