Advisory Board Member
Nathan “Nate” Mart serves as the Workforce Development Program Manager at Inova Health, where he partners with middle schools, high schools, colleges, the military, and community organizations to design scalable programs that bridge the gap between education and a high-performing healthcare workforce. A passionate advocate for early career exploration, Nate began his journey with Think Big For Kids Greater Washington during the 2024-2025 school year as a Career Showcase presenter, and he is honored to continue his commitment to the organization’s mission as a member of its Advisory Board.
Nate’s efforts reflect a deep dedication to the Northern Virginia community with his work having been recognized by both the Virginia Department of Education and the Virginia School Board Association, as well as being a 2026 nominee for the Loudoun County Public Schools “Make A Difference” Award. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Management from SUNY Brockport.
Before joining Inova in 2022, Nate spent six years in higher education supporting first-generation and STEM-focused students. Outside of his professional roles, Nate is a devoted assistant swim coach for Freedom High School, an instructor with UVA Northern Virginia’s Inspire program, an avid Apple enthusiast, and a proud dog dad who enjoys spending time with his partner.
