Jacqueline Breslauer
Jacqueline A. Breslauer currently serves as Chief Audit Executive of Valley National Bank, a regional bank with more than $64 billion in assets and over 175 locations, primarily across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Alabama. Since joining the Bank in 2019, Jacqueline has brought extensive experience to advancing the internal audit function through a collaborative, balanced, and risk-based approach that supports stakeholders’ strategic objectives. Her areas of expertise include internal audit, banking, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and regulatory relations.
Jacqueline earned her Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds the Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Financial Services Auditor, and Certification in Control Self-Assessment designations. She was also named one of NJBIZ’s Best Fifty Women in Business in 2023. She is a past President and Chair, and current Board member, of the Institute of Internal Auditors’ North Jersey Chapter, a professional organization serving more than 1,100 members across North Jersey. The Chapter provides training and networking opportunities for its members and partners with local colleges and universities to promote the internal audit profession through education. Jacqueline also previously served as First Vice President and Strategic Committee Chair for Family Connections, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides specialized counseling and prevention services to children, adults, and families in New Jersey.
