Amy Alley

Amy is a passionate leader with over 20 years of experience in non-profit management, corporate event planning, organizational development, and communications. She is the founding executive director of Think Big for Kids and joined the organization at its inception of becoming a 501c3 in early 2019.
After graduating from the University of South Florida, Amy began her career in communications with a non-profit healthcare organization for educating patients. She later joined the Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) and became CEO in 2007. As part of her role, Amy managed the TBTF Foundation, the charitable arm of the organization, in supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay with computer labs, volunteer projects and scholarships for kids. Tony DiBenedetto was an original founder of TBTF and shared his great passion for helping underprivileged kids with many volunteers.
Amy then joined Dynamic Communities in late 2011 and spent over seven years helping grow the organization through expanding its programs, strategy and events to user group members, including the Annual Summit 7,000-person conference.
Currently in her role at Think Big, Amy is responsible for managing the organization, executing the vision and strategy to serve as many kids as possible, fundraising and building relationships with volunteers and community leaders. She also serves on the Board of Tampa Bay Tech and is co-chair of the Community Engagement Committee.
Amy is a Florida native and enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Paul and their two boys ages ten and eight.
