KEN BERRY

Advisory Board Member

Ken Berry is a senior litigation paralegal in Winston and Strawn’s Chicago office. Mr. Berry conducts legal research, case review, investigation and analysis, and assists attorneys with case strategy, preparation, and trials. He also trains other paralegals. His experience includes working with multiple law enforcement agencies and public information sources, court officials and proceedings, rules of evidence, and documentation in federal and state trial and appellate courts.

He attended Roosevelt University, B.G.S. in Social Science, with honors, 1998 Lewis University, Paralegal Training, Business Law & Ethics, 1994 Daley College, A.A.S. in Criminal Justice, 1991.

 

In February 2020, Ken received the “Volunteer of the Year” award from Legal Aid Chicago for his work at the North Lawndale Legal Aid Clinic. He also began a new role with Winston & Strawn and the Firm’s first CSR and Pro Bono Specialist. In 2021, Mr. Berry was voted Chairman of the Board of Director’s for Reading Between the Lines, a non-profit which assists prisoners with literacy and re-entry. In 2022, Ken was promoted to the Firm’s first CSR and Pro Bono Administrator.
