How We Help
Think Big for Kids starts working with students in the 6th grade all the way through high school graduation with our Three Pillars program. No matter when you start, we’re here to help you through your journey to finding a career path and bettering your future.
Pillar 1: Career Exploration
All through middle school, we’ll give you the opportunity to learn about several interesting career options through a variety of career showcases, skill-building workshops, field trips, and summer programs. You’ll find out how to qualify for certain careers, how much money you can make, and how to get a job that you’re passionate about.
Pillar 2: Mentorship
Having an experienced mentor can make a big impact on your life, both now and in the future. When you start high school, we can pair you with a mentor who shares your interests to help you understand your career options, choose the right education path, stick with it, and make plans for after you graduate.
Pillar 3: Job Readiness & Placement
As you approach graduation, we help prepare you for your future career through internships and job shadowing opportunities, job readiness workshops, scholarships, and job placement. We continue to provide support even after you’ve moved on to your new job, technical training, or college program to help you make the best decisions for your future.
