I have 27 years of experience providing investment management and advisory services to high-net-worth families, foundations, businesses and not for profits and was named to the 2017 Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisors.

My direct, real-life experience as an entrepreneur, board member, real estate investor, corporate and investment banker, and financial planner, provides me with a unique knowledge of and perspective on how to properly hold and structure investments while focusing on asset protection and tax implications. I am well qualified to understand and incorporate the risk, return, and correlation of outside business and real estate interests into a properly diversified investment portfolio. While Truist Advisors do not provide tax advice, I assist clients by developing portfolios to manage investments, while minimizing taxes and planning for future distributions.

I joined the Corporate Banking department of SunTrust Bank now Truist in 1994 before moving on to the Corporate & Investment Banking group, where I provided such financing and investment banking services as public debt and equity capital funding for corporations. In 2000, I transitioned to SunTrust (now Truist), providing wealth management, investment management, and advisory services to families, individuals and businesses. In 2010, I became a member of the SunTrust (now Truist) Foundation & Endowment Specialty Practice, bringing experience in assisting not-for-profit organizations by providing investment management, and planned giving services.
