Big Thoughts

Thanks to our generous partners at SME Solutions Group, we are excited to announce the SME Technical Trades Scholarship to graduating seniors who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.   The SME Technical Trades Scholarship was established in partnership with Think Big for Kids to provide students interested in technical trades a full scholarship to receive the education and training needed to start a career in a technical trade role.   The scholarship will award up to $5,000 for technical training through Hillsborough Community College or Erwin Technical College.  SME has committed to providing the SME Technical Trade Scholarship in partnership with Think Big for Kids to students enrolled in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay for the next three years.

The SME Technical Trades Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2020 scholarship, with a deadline of March 13.  Click here for the online application to apply.  Think Big for Kids will conduct interviews with all finalists and announce the scholarship recipients in early May.
