JDP Apprenticeship Coming Soon
Think Big for Kids is working closely with JDP Electric to bring an exciting job opportunity to graduating seniors at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay. Jeff Priede, owner of JDP Electric has offered to hire and support one of our students on their path to becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
The awarded student will commit to a five-year career pathway which includes working for one year as a helper at JDP Electric and then enrolling in a four-year trade school program to attend while working as an apprentice with JDP Electric. JDP Electric will cover all academic expenses as part of the students’ paid apprenticeship. Upon passing all certification exams, the student then will be invited to join the JDP Electric team to manage their own jobs.
